The American edition of The Washington Post, citing sources in the intelligence services, writes that the North Korean authorities are looking for ways to conceal a nuclear arsenal and missile weapons.

According to the intelligence department of the US Department of Defense (DIA), Pyongyang does not intend to completely abandon its military nuclear program.

DIA experts concluded that the DPRK is working to misinform the international community about the number of nuclear warheads and missiles capable of carrying such warheads, as well as the number and types of nuclear installations that North Korea has..

Previously, the American television channel NBC reported that the US special services do not trust the authorities of the DPRK and have information about the continuation of work on the secret nuclear facilities in this country.

Last week, US Secretary of Defense James Mattis said that, according to him, Pyongyang did not begin to take steps to implement the program of nuclear disarmament. He also noted that more detailed negotiations on denuclearization with representatives of the DPRK have not yet begun.

Recall, immediately after the meeting of Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, the US president said that Pyongyang is beginning to destroy the country's largest nuclear test site. Trump also claimed that soon after the summit, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and presidential adviser for national security John Bolton would meet with North Korean officials to specify the details of the denuclearization agreement that Trump believed was concluded with Kim Jong-Eun. However, the meeting not only did not take place, but has not yet been appointed.
