The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Lyudmila Denisova, wrote an official letter to the head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Anton Vaino with a request to ensure the implementation of the guarantees given to her by the Russian president. The Ukrainian ombudsman has published photocopies of her letter to Vaino on Facebook.

"I have to state that the guarantees given to me by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin as an authorized human rights representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for unhindered admission and without any preconditions to the detained citizens of Ukraine have not been implemented at the moment," said Denisova.

The Ukrainian Ombudsman also reported that she appealed to the deputy head of the AP of the Russian Federation - press secretary Dmitry Peskov, who repeatedly stated that the fulfillment of the presidential agreements depends on two ombudsmen.

"In my official letter, I draw the attention of Mr. Peskov, that negotiations with the Russian Federation's authorized representative Tatyana Moskalkova did not yield any results. And I ask him to inform the President of the Russian Federation that, as an authorized Verkhovna Rada on human rights, the guarantees for unconditional and unhindered admission to the detained citizens of Ukraine are not being fulfilled to date, "- wrote Denisova.
