I'm sometimes told that I'm too liberal.
Yes, I respect the human diversity and diversity. For me, there is no difference in people due to the color of their skin, where they came from, what religion and belief they have, sexual, political, etc. orientation, etc.. This is not liberalism, it's the only normal views of a normal person, in my opinion. Since all people came to this planet as equals and everyone wants happiness (as everyone understands it).
But since childhood I have been a Republican (and I remain). My ideals of politics are Reagan, Thatcher, Harper. Why? Because the Republicans defended the values ??and ideals that I share, more aggressively and more rigidly. These are the values ??of freedom, private property, free market, morality and honesty, hatred of evil (and the evil empire). They are more willing to rely on strength in upholding these ideals and values ??than liberals (in Canada) and democrats (in the US).
But!.
The current Republican party in the US is not a Republican party that we knew. From her there was only the name. Therefore, this is not my party today.
What Trump did was supposed to happen. Populism is a global trend, but in the US it was not possible to verify this until 2016. The United States has always been a stronghold of virtue and decency and always both candidates for presidency (since the US bipartisan system) played only on this field. It never occurred to anyone that in the United States there are people like everywhere else. It never occurred to anyone to play on the most bashful feelings of people, as Trump did and put on him Republicans.
How could you choose such a moral monster in the US?.
Who openly betrays his wife.
Which absolutely always lies.
Who was bankrupt six times.
Which is corrupt by each of its cells. Moreover, it is corrupted by foreign states. Moreover, I am ready to sell the interests of America, to accept the help of foreign states in order to come to power.
Who is afraid to provide a report on his condition, income-expenditure-taxes, his health to US citizens.
Which is a sexist, a fascist.
Which promotes isolationism instead of globalization.
And so on. That is, which raised from the bottom of the US all the lowest and most vile that is in every society, and made a bet on it.

Now about the Republican Party.
Now it's Trump's party (80%). Now this is a sect. He established there a dictatorship and a cult of personality. Therefore, there is no place anymore for such people as Mueller, McCain or Schwarzenegger. It's impossible for people to be moral and honest there.
Therefore, this party in the future will have to split into the Trump party (no matter how it will be called) and the party of normal Americans.
But.
I, as always, are an optimist. It had to happen. This is a chance for self-purification of America's political landscape.
Trump will raise all the dirt, and when he goes to the bottom of the story (which will happen sooner or later), he will take it all with him. good always triumphs over evil. Of course, then it goes round again, but. already at a higher level of development. So the spiral turns out, so the progress of mankind and of individual countries.
Therefore, I calmly feel that the Republicans are going to Moscow to Putin. Just as I look at the meeting between Trump and Putin. It's not the Republicans and the Wheel of History they will not turn back.
