The US Embassy in Armenia shared on its Twitter an analytical article on Russia's expansionist policy in Macedonia.

The article says that Russian ideologists and strategists frequenting Macedonia and lecturing and opening educational institutions in Macedonian cities. It is reported that these are the same ideologues that were used in their time to shake the situation in the Crimea and the East of Ukraine, as well as in an attempt at a coup in Montenegro.

This organization is a branch of the Eurasian Union of Russia, created by Alexander Dugin and his ideological companions.

In late May, Leonid Savin conducted a training for 50 members of the extreme left party "United Macedonia". The party opposes changing the name of Macedonia, and believes that membership in NATO and the EU will lead to the end of independence of this country.

Leonid Savin is considered a protege of Alexander Dugin and is listed as an editor in his projects Catechon, Geopolitics and the Strategic Culture Foundation. These projects are financed by the close to the Kremlin oligarch Konstantin Malofeev.
