The information is posted on the official website of the OSCE mission:.

In these houses lived about 150 residents, but now almost no one's home is not know - half ruined, burned to the ground, many are abandoned or occupied by the military. None of them still have electricity, only a few have running water or drinking water.

A few months ago the team of the OSCE CMM visited # Chigari - a remote settlement in the South, right on the contact line in the Donetsk region, between Toretsk and Gorlovka, which is not under the control of the government. Since then, a lot has changed.

The streets were emptied after many residents were forced to flee to neighboring Toretsk and Gorlovka.

Those who decided to stay suffer because of the lack of essential goods and get used to new neighbors, as the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, present now on almost every street, occupy houses and build military positions in the courtyards of some of them.

Irina, one of the few residents who remain in the village, tells the observers about the shooting and explosions that she hears every night. "When an intense bombardment begins, I hide under the bed. Although it is unlikely to save me, "- says Irina.

According to the residents of Chigarei, the new situation brought even more violence and devastation to the village.
