The Kerch bridge will not help the occupiers to increase the tourist flow to the occupied Crimea, since road transport is unsuitable for travel between the peninsula and the Russian regions.
This in an interview with the "Observer" was told by the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Crimea Boris Babin.
"If you just look at the map, you can see that the presence of this bridge will make life a little easier, relatively speaking, to the inhabitants of the Crimea who want to visit Krasnodar, or the inhabitants of Krasnodar or Rostov who want to come to the Crimea. It's just a simulation. But to go by car to the Crimea from the central regions of Russia across the bridge ... Well, this is a quest, it's exotic, "said Babin.
According to the official, the bridge will not give the Crimea an influx of tourists, and the main mode of transport for the delivery of tourists to the peninsula, as before, will be aviation.
