The Kerch ferry crossing was closed, but suddenly resumed its work. Apparently, the newly opened bridge did not live up to expectations. According to the carrier, plying ferries was stopped due to a strong wind in the Kerch Strait. This is with reference to the LLC "Marine Directorate" Dialogue.
The Kerch ferry crossing is the main transport artery connecting the occupied Crimean peninsula with the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.
We add that according to Ukrainian legislation, entry into the Crimea through a crossing from the cities is prohibited and is qualified as a violation of the order of crossing the entrance to or from the occupied territory.
