Yesterday, on May 19, veterans of the battalion with relatives and friends, relatives of the deceased battalion fighters, volunteers, clergymen of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, deputies, indifferent inhabitants of the city gathered near the memorial to the heroes who died in ATU Heroes.. The event began with the performance of the Ukrainian Anthem. Deputy Commander of the 40th battalion, Yuri Sinkovsky turned first to the mothers of the fighters and thanked them for bringing up real Heroes who were the first to go and defend our country from the enemy.

- It was a great honor for me to perform real men's work in the battalion "Kryvbas". Damn this war! But thanks to this war, I learned what is heroism, patriotism, what is a real comradely friendship. Thank you guys for not sitting on the couches. Thank you for being one of the first to defend our country.

Low bow to mothers, parents, wives, children, brothers and sisters of our Heavenly Heroes. They are not forgotten. They will remain in our hearts, - said Yuri Sinkovsky.
