Sergei Bochkovsky, who was reinstated by the court as the chairman of the State Service for Emergency Situations, is in the status of the accused under three articles of the Criminal Code, including bribery.

This was told "Ukrainian Truth" press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko.

He said that Bochkovsky was charged with article 368 (accepting a proposal, promising or receiving an unlawful gain by an official), 364 (abuse of power or official position) and 366 (forgery) of the Criminal Code.

Together with Bochkovsky, according to Shevchenko, his former first deputy Vasily Stoetsky is being tried, accused of two articles - 368 and 364.

The spokesman recalled that the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on March 23, 2015, registered criminal proceedings against these two persons, then informed them of suspicion and sent an indictment to the court.

"Legally and in fact they are in the dock," Shevchenko stressed..

He added that the process against them is now being listened to in fact, and the investigators collected enough evidence to recognize Bochkovsky and Stoetsky guilty.

As reported, on Thursday the District Administrative Court of Kyiv recognized illegal and canceled the dismissal of Sergei Bochkovsky from the post of head of the State Service for Emergency Situations.
