The presidential elections in Russia-2018 were held. A common place was to say that the miracle did not happen - Putin, without getting out of the presidential chair, sat in it again.

However, a miracle - in some way - still happened.

Brezhnev stayed in power for 18 years, and after his death this though not the highest Kremlin peak, but remained unconquered. Having successfully overtaken Leonid Ilyich at the turn of fate, Putin began the countdown of his nineteenth year. Now he is shining with a new six-year plan, which means that 24 years on the edge of power. His idol Stalin set a high bar - for 31 years he had a grip on his grief on the mountain from deaths and broken fates, but now this bar seems not so unattainable.

In Russia, no matter how it is called, according to the tradition that has been consecrated for centuries, the authorities prefer to give only when they are in the coffin - sometimes it happens voluntarily, but more often it is forced. No democracy is capable of providing Russia with such replaceability of power as the irrepressible thirst of its Kremlin cousins.

Power is the most intoxicating, most poisonous and most desired drink for man, and so it has always been. But here the Russians have a special way, the nature of this thirst is different for them. Year after year, decade after decade, century after century in Russia diligently deduced a sign of equality between power and life. The equation is simple: power is all available goods, power is the life of others in your hands, power is permissiveness, power is life. And the loss of power is death. Without power, you are nothing, nothing, ashes, flying out into the pipe. The only difference is whether you fly honorably, at the parade, or with horror in your eyes, after expecting a payback, even more unbearable, maybe than the payoff itself. And this is the only variable.

Therefore, with rare exception, Russian leaders never give up power, they know - give power, and you are a corpse. And remember that they themselves have done this more than once, and they know that they will act the same way, just stumble. Log ruble - yield two. And nothing else.

For Putin, whose idea of ??the world consists of a wild mixture of "concepts" of the St. Petersburg gateway, the Higher School of the KGB, Soviet "employees" in the GDR and Russian politics in the 1990s, this equation is more than obvious and obvious. He himself uses them incessantly and is afraid of it himself - he is afraid to go to the sky not in a beautiful, expensive coffin, but with clammy palms and a view of his own death.

The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, and, as you know, what he has in his tongue, then Putin's on his mind, the day after the "election" said: "There will be a State Council - a collective body where the chairman of the State Council with the rights of the president will be elected at a meeting of the State Council, and the State Council will be formed from the best governors, for the appearance of the best, ministers, senators, deputies - a person of 30-40 will sit in this St George's Hall of the Kremlin ".

Not that it was something unique, just recently the leader of China Xi Jinping turned such focus - now he will rule indefinitely. But he, Si, does not threaten the world with nuclear weapons and does not start the war in a year. And that's why other countries noticed, but they pretended that it was necessary. The fact that Putin has such plans, just in the usual extravagant form, confirmed the same Zhirinovsky, saying that in Russia there were "elections of the supreme ruler not only of the country, but of the entire planet Earth".

With similar ideas, Putin lays a shortcut into that same pipe. But not only to himself and his closest associates, his wallets, cooks and guards. It flows this way of that very Russia, without which the world does not need it. And the Russians rush after him, like cartoon lemmings, with schizophrenic joy rushing to the abyss all over the pack for their "guide".

As the old, not very, and very recent history shows, stagnation can not last forever. Further up or down, or up. If the country lives by enemies and wars, like Russia, then there is only one option - down. This is not a matter of months, but not of decades. Perhaps Putin thinks that in his age of greatness and petrodollars will be enough. To him 65, medicine every day makes incredible progress.

And while Putin will remain in power, he will continue to hold on to power at all costs. Most likely, the idea that Zhirinovsky has tested in public will be realized, and even such non-selective ones as this Sunday, under Putin there will be no more. And with each subsequent year in the Kremlin, twisting the nuts and rolling up the remains of petrodollars into fantastic projects and wars, desperately breaking into a new confrontation and new sanctions, he will drag Russia to the lemmings' abyss.

But, as you know, a person is mortal, and sometimes suddenly mortal. What will happen to Russia when Putin does not? Scenarios of the collapse of Russia in the Soviet scenario or the revolution of the 1918 model does not seem so unreal anymore. The question is, rather, when, exactly, what will become the trigger and which scenario will develop the events.

Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, who tried to make the patron the most compliant of all possible compliments, seems to have predicted the future of Russia. Do not become Putin - will not be her. He will be the last ruler of such Russia, as we know it and remember. And, maybe, then all of us - the whole civilized world - will finally breathe a sigh of relief. But for a long time - depends only on us. So far, this dragon has always grown a head, not without the help of this most civilized world.
