Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto spoke against the deployment of the Ukrainian military battalion in Beregovo Zakarpattya region.

According to Siyarto, at a meeting of European ministers in Brussels, he expressed his concern over Ukraine's decision to "relocate a battalion of about 800 to one thousand soldiers from the east to the town of Berehove," home to the most Hungarians.
The diplomat said that the reason for deployment of the military, which the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine explained as "anxiety due to the threat of the territorial integrity of Ukraine".
"This means that Kiev regards the Hungarian national minority as a threat factor, it revolts, and Hungary rejects it in the most determined way," Siyarto said..
