The European Union called on Ukraine to continue resolutely to reform and fight corruption.

This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Affairs Federica Mogerini, Radio Liberty reports.

"The EU would like to see more determination [in carrying out reforms]," she said..

According to Mogherini, the EU expects the creation of an Anti-Corruption Court, the abolition of obligations to file electronic declarations to non-governmental organizations and public activists, as well as the implementation of a number of other steps that need to be taken to consolidate reforms.

Megerini noted that these reforms are needed, above all, the Ukrainians, not the EU.

Recall, 11-12 March Federica Mogerini was on a two-day working visit to Ukraine.

On the eve of the trip, she noted that the EU was not tired of Ukrainian problems and the actions of the authorities, despite the fact that some reforms in Ukraine are not moving as fast as the EU representatives would like.
