A few years ago, many Ukrainians did not even allow the victory in the presidential election of Viktor Yanukovych - well, our wise people can not elect a president of a recidivist, especially after the Maidan of 2004.
Similarly, we could not believe in the possibility of Russia's attack on Ukraine and the occupation of part of our territory - well, a strong state can not agree with such pressure.
But we do not have either a wise nation or a strong state. There is only a passionate part of the society that is interested in building the state - but you will not call it wise either, so it's on the provocation.
A military coup in Ukraine can have catastrophic consequences for the state - the loss of part of the territory, the break with the West, ruin and death, the restoration of complete dependence on Moscow. But this does not mean that it can not be. And this does not mean that his supporters imagine his consequences.
Moreover, as this has often happened in Ukrainian history, the consequences of them are not of much interest. They are interested in the momentary embodiment of hatred in real actions. What difference does it make after that?.
The fact that Nadezhda Savchenko became the person who voiced the thesis about the "expediency" of the coup - and this is why the coup seems like a comedy - also an erroneous approach. It seems to us that coups are arranged by intelligent people in tailcoats and with higher education - such as Lenin or Trotsky.
But, firstly, Medvedchuk looks no worse than Lenin and also has a legal education. And, secondly, all those supporters of the coup who were near to its organizers and called for a revolution, were similar to Nadezhda Savchenko, and not to Leon Trotsky. Just remember - the sailor Dybenko, the sailor Zheleznyakov, the expropriator Dzhugashvili. Yes, in comparison with them, Nadezhda Savchenko is a graduate of the Institute of Noble Maidens.
And yes, these people came to power and arranged everything that we now know from the history books - Civil War, Holodomor, repression. And yes, most of them the expropriator Dzhugashvili, who became the leader of the peoples of Stalin, shot in 1937. And we now reckon them to the victims of Stalin's repressions.
Beneficiaries of a military coup in Ukraine can also expect an unenviable fate. But neither Ukraine, nor me and you from this will not be easier.
