At a meeting of the Kremlin-controlled Supreme Court of Crimea on March 14 changed the verdict to Ukrainian activist Vladimir Balukh. According to the Crimea. Realities, Judge Timur Tlezko excluded from the charge the item on the acquisition of ammunition. In this connection, the verdict was changed to 3 years and 5 months of imprisonment in the colony-settlement.

At the same time, during the court session, the court refused to satisfy the requests to call witnesses who were not questioned during the judicial investigation, as well as in conducting additional examinations, demanding additional documents and audio recording by the court.

In January 2018, the Kremlin-controlled Razdolnensky district court sentenced Ukrainian activist Vladimir Balukh, accused of possession of ammunition, to three years and seven months of a settlement colony and a fine of 10,000 rubles (about 4,600. UAH - KR).

The Federal Security Service of Russia detained Vladimir Balukh on December 8, 2016. Employees of the FSB claimed that they found in the attic of the house where Vladimir Balukh lives, 90 rounds and several TNT checkers.



In August 2017, the court sentenced the Ukrainian activist - three years and seven months of the colony of the general regime, as well as a fine of ten thousand rubles. During the examination of the appeal, the verdict of Balukh was canceled. The case was sent for reconsideration.

Razdolnensky district court on December 1 changed the measure of restraint to Ukrainian activist for house arrest within two months.

Protection Balukh and human rights activists believe that he was a victim of repression for his pro-Ukrainian position - because of the flag of Ukraine, which was in the courtyard of his house.
