During the EuroMaidan, an assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov came to Crimea, the former head of the Council of Ministers of the Crimea Anatoly Mogilev said in an interview with "Ukrainska Pravda".
"I met Surkov when he came to the Crimea, in late 2013 or early 2014. With him came another 4-5 people, "- he said..
According to Mogilev, Surkov presented his delegation as engineering workers. The purpose of the visit, according to the former Crimean official, was to discuss the possible construction of the Kerch bridge.
"It was about the fact that in 1995 or 1997 a joint agreement between Ukraine and Russia on the construction of the Kerch bridge. This document went between Russia and Ukraine in the Cabinet of Ministers, it was discussed, there was a harmonization of services. One of the agreements hanged in Kiev, "- said the former head of the Council of Ministers.
Surkov said that his visit to Crimea was connected only with this issue, stressed Mogilev. He also added that the situation in Ukraine was not discussed.
"We discussed only this project with him. There were no hints and discussions of the situation in the country at all. I talked with him for about 40 minutes or an hour. And all. I do not know if there were any other meetings he had with someone else. I can not even say if he flew from the Crimea this day or the next, "- said the former head of the Council of Ministers.
He also added that he linked Putin's adviser "with someone from Ukrainian ministers who led the transport".
