President of the United States Donald Trump on Sunday criticized the "Russian investigation", saying that part of the responsibility (for intervention) is the Obama administration. Trump insisted that he had never denied the fact of interference in the elections, and said that in Moscow "they were tearing their bellies from laughing".

The president touched on the topic of the "Russian investigation" in a new series of tweets sent from his mansion to Palm Beach a few days after special prosecutor Robert Muller accused 13 Russians of plotting to intervene in the US presidential election in 2016.

While in the nearby city of Parkland, continuing to mourn 17 dead as a result of shooting at a local school, the president's thoughts seem to be occupied primarily by Russia. The administration focused on the fact that Russia's efforts began in 2014, t. even before Trump announced his intention to run for president, and on Sunday he continued this topic.

Trump said that the leading Democrat in the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, whom he called "an uncontrolled monster of leaks", "now blames the Obama administration for Russian intervention in the 2016 elections".

Apparently, Trump was referring to Schiff's interview with NBC, in which he stated that the previous administration had to introduce "more effective deterrents" against foreign opponents who are plotting cyberattacks.

At the end of 2016, Obama defended his administration's response to Russian interference, also stating that he demanded from Russian President Vladimir Putin in September of that year to "stop" such actions.

"I never said that Russia did not interfere in the elections, I said:" it could be Russia or China, or some other country or group, or it could be a 400-pound genius sitting on the bed playing on his computer " , - wrote Trump on Twitter.

"The Russian fake consisted in the fact that Trump's campaign headquarters had conspired with Russia - he had never done it! "- said the president.

In this regard, Trump touched on the recent statement of the National Security Adviser Herbert McMaster. According to the president, McMaster "forgot to say that the results of the 2016 election were not influenced by the Russians and did not change under their influence, and that the only collusion took place between Russia and its opponent - former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as other democrats.

Trump repeatedly expressed doubts about Russian interference in the elections.

In November, he said that he trusted the findings of US intelligence that such an intervention was. But Trump also said that Putin was sincere when he argued that Russia did not interfere in the election.

Trump also said on Sunday that the ongoing investigation is exactly what Russia wants.

"In view of all the investigations and inter-party enmity, their successes have surpassed their wildest dreams. They tear their bellies from laughter. Wiser, America! "- wrote the President of the United States.
