The Secretary General believes that it is necessary to do everything possible to ensure that Moscow and Washington adhere to the 1987 agreement, when an agreement was signed between Mikhail Gorbachev and Ronald Reagan on the utilization of medium- and short-range nuclear missiles. Also Stoltenberg expressed concern over the continued development of North Korea's nuclear program. To understand the danger of the problem, he stressed that Munich is in the radius of the destruction of the rockets of the KDNR, Washington is not yet there.

He made a separate point for the nuclear submarines that the Chinese military had acquired, which could create additional threats in the Asia-Pacific region, and could also threaten the sovereignty of the state of Taiwan.

"A world in which Russia, China and the DPRK have nuclear weapons, and NATO does not have, an unsafe world," concludes the NATO chairman.

As reported in "Ura-Inform", today, February 16, 2018, the 54th Munich Security Conference was launched, which will last for three days.
