A statement was made by Valery Lutkovskaya, representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights.

We note that it is still unknown whether Odintsov and Baranov will challenge such a decision. However, as of February 16, the case of Suschenko has already been transferred to the court. Therefore, now there is an active preparation for the exchange of Baranov and Odintsov for Sushchenko and Sentsov.

Also, the representative of Lutkovskaya added that the exchange could take place if the prisoners on both sides receive sentences in Russia and Ukraine. By the way, only after that, they can be pardoned.

Recall, as reported earlier, "URA-Inform," a Russian-made film about Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov received an award at the documentary film festival on human rights Verzio International in Budapest. The film is known as "The Process: The Russian State Against Oleg Sentsov".
