Kaczynski accused "enemies" of Poland in inciting anti-Semitism

He believes that a resonant law on the National Memory Institute can warm up anti-Semitism among the Poles and called for resisting "a disease of anti-Semitism". As reported by DW, the former Polish Prime Minister said this on Sunday, February 11, to supporters of his party.

At the same time he noted that today the enemies of Poland - you can even say the devil - are experiencing a very poor formula, a serious illness of the soul and mind, this disease is anti-Semitism. Kaczynski also stressed that the Poles should resolutely resist him.

We must be tough, we must defend the truth about what happened in Poland during World War II. But the defense of truth should always be carried out with the memory of St. Paul's eternal words - conquer evil with good, - stressed the head of PiS.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, February 6, 2018, the President of Poland Andrzej Duda decided to sign a controversial law on the National Memory Institute, which in late January, the Seimas and the Senate of Poland.

These legislative changes have caused negative reactions in various countries of Europe and the world, in particular, in Israel and Ukraine. This law provides for the punishment of up to three years of imprisonment for accusing the Poles or the Polish state of involvement in or crimes committed by the Nazis during World War II, as well as the use of the expression "Polish death camps". Punishment is also provided for the denial of "crimes of Ukrainian nationalists".
