Among the persons who are covered by this prohibition are mostly Russian citizens.

At the same time, the specified number does not include persons who are involved in terrorist activities.

"The decision to ban entry to the territory of Ukraine to foreign citizens is taken individually with respect to each person in the presence of information on the facts of committing a socially dangerous act, regardless of the territory of its commission, which contradicts the interests of ensuring Ukraine's security, the warning, detection and termination of which is assigned to the SBU," - explained in the special services.

The list of persons posing a threat to national security is drawn up on the basis of appeals from the National Security and Defense Council, the Security Service and the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting.
