As reported in Brussels, at the moment in the calendar there are no appointed meetings of the Ukraine-NATO Commission.
The Ministerial meeting of the CoE should be held on February 14 or 15 during the meeting of defense ministers of all the member countries of the Alliance - this is one of the few opportunities for the year, during which the head of the Ukrainian military department has the opportunity to present his thoughts to the ministers of all key partner countries.
However, Hungary used the right of veto and blocked the meeting.
Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto stated that Budapest would not contribute to the NATO-Ukraine meeting at the level of defense ministers.
As previously reported in URA-Inform, the Hungarian government demands that the Ukrainian state renounce the legislative norms for dubbing the plays and newspapers of national minorities in the Ukrainian language.
