For the law "On Amendments to the Criminal Code (concerning the criminalization of assistance in committing suicide)," 229 people's deputies voted. As stated on the parliament's website, the document establishes responsibility for any assistance to a person committing suicide or attempting suicide.

At the same time, the new version of the law says that bringing a person to suicide or an attempted suicide, which is a result of cruel treatment, blackmail, systematic humiliation of his human dignity or systematic unlawful coercion to actions that contradict his will, a suicide attempt , as well as other actions contributing to the commission of suicide, is punishable by restriction of freedom for a period of up to three years or imprisonment for the same period.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, today the head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andrew Parubiy signed a new law of Ukraine "On privatization". The portal page says that the law sets out new rules for simplifying business activities, as well as transparency of all procedures on the way of transferring national enterprises to private hands.
