The corresponding decision was made at today's meeting.
According to the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, joint control of persons, vehicles, goods and items at the checkpoints through the Ukrainian-Moldovan state border.
It is worth noting that the current agreement was developed more than 20 years ago and determined the list of checkpoints where joint control was possible.
As previously reported in URA-Inform, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced the need to strengthen the protection of the external borders of the European Union.
