The RAFAEL Concern signed with the IDF a contract for the supply of thousands of units of the new rocket launcher "Nutcracker" ( ), developed on the basis of combat experience during the operation "Indestructible Rock". The transaction amount is several tens of millions of shekels.

The new bazooka has unique characteristics: the rocket launcher is 40% lighter, the striking force is greater, the missile accurately hits targets at a distance of several hundred meters.

This is the first joint development of RAFAEL and the Army in the framework of the "Infantry on the horizon" program, designed to improve armament, bring it to the standards of modern warfare and ensure effective implementation of operational tasks.

Zvi M. , head of the department for the development of tactical precision weapons in the concern of RAFAEL, explained: "The Nutcracker" is a destructive weapon that provides IDF needs for a particular kind of troops. This is another significant technological achievement that will give the infantry superiority over the enemy ".
