Congressman Joe Kennedy, a representative of the famous political dynasty, delivered a retaliatory speech on behalf of the Democratic Party.

Kennedy did not speak in Washington, but in Fall River, Massachusetts, he said, "a proud American city built by immigrants".

Kennedy noted that Americans feel that their country is collapsing, and the growth of the stock market enriches investors, but workers do not get an "honest share".

He noted that "Russia controls our democracy", declared "a war to protect our environment," "Justice Ministry every day weakens the protection of civil rights," and "hatred (...) proudly marches through our streets" ...

On behalf of the Democrats, Kennedy declared that they choose the best conditions for everyone who calls the US a home, better living conditions, a "health care system that assists" and the economy "strong enough to set stock price records and brave enough to admit that it's wrong when the gen flax directors receive 300 times more workers ".

Kennedy turned to illegal immigrants who came to the US as children - "dreamers" - in Spanish: "You are part of our history. We will fight for you ".

His speech, Kennedy concluded with the phrase: "Politicians love for their promises. Our country will be judged by the promises we kept. It is this dimension of our character ".
