He also noted that at the last meeting Russia was open with regard to the idea of ??a broad mandate for a peacekeeping mission.

If the peacekeeping mission starts working, then it can be expanded, "he said, adding that he still did not receive information from Surkov on the specific deadlines for realizing the idea of ??Russia for peacekeepers.

Recall, as reported by URA-Inform, Volcker previously said that the Russian draft resolution providing for the deployment of peacekeepers to the Donbass only along the line of contact is unacceptable for the United States and the United Nations, since it does not guarantee security, but will only aggravate the conflict.
