He stated this in an interview for the weekly "Do Rzeczy".

According to Chaputovich, in the Polish-Ukrainian relations there are various interpretations of the history on both sides. For example, the problem of a moratorium on the search, exhumation and honoring Poles who died in the territory of Ukraine.

Chaputovich also recalled that when he took office, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin called him with a very interesting proposal.

At that time, the two countries' politicians agreed on a meeting to discuss the lifting of the moratorium.

"There will be a meeting at the level of deputy prime ministers, and we hope that Kiev will change its decision," he added..

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform," Polish President Andrzej Duda promised to analyze the bill providing for criminal punishment for statements about the involvement of the Poles in the Holocaust and the propaganda of the so-called "Bandera ideology".
