It became known that the Seimas adopted a package of bills that provided for changes to the law on the National Memory Institute of Poland, namely, the ban on the so-called "Bandera ideology". The corresponding bill was supported by a majority vote.
The law concerns the definition of crimes of Ukrainian nationalists and Ukrainian organizations that cooperated with the Third Reich during World War II and are responsible for events in Volhynia and Eastern Lesser Poland.
Based on the law, it is possible to open criminal cases against individuals who deny the guilt of Ukrainian nationalists for crimes against Poles.
As previously reported in "URA-Inform", the Senate of Poland adopted a new law on judicial reform. The bill was passed despite protests under the Polish parliament. Two laws - on the Supreme Court and the State Council of Judicial Proceedings, proposed by President of the country Anjdey Duda.
