The EU plans to strengthen measures to counter Russian propaganda

Such data are reported by the press office of the EU Delegation in Ukraine during the debates in the European Parliament regarding the impact of Russian propaganda on the countries of the European Union.

As is known, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the number of information leaks, fake news, disinformation campaigns and cyber attacks, which were organized by the Russian Federation.



In this regard, the deputies of the European Parliament called for measures to improve media literacy, raise awareness, promote independent media and journalistic investigation. Parliamentarians also noted the need to strengthen the transparency of property in the media and the financing of political parties and their campaigns.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Infrom," the head of the US state, Donald Trump, published a media rating with untrue and even frankly fake news.
