This decision was made by the head of government after the executive committee of the ruling Social Democratic Party in Romania voted at an extraordinary meeting for depriving him of political support. As reported by DIGI24, today the meeting of the Social Democratic Party of Romania.

After the vote, Tudose wrote a letter of resignation. Journalists of the TV channel also explained that today the situation in the government was to be considered, with Prime Minister Mihai Tudose calling on Minister of Internal Affairs Carmen Dan to resign, and also called for the restructuring of the executive branch.

At the same time, Dan herself stated that there are no good reasons for her resignation, but she is ready to leave office if a decision is made at the party's meeting.
