The Popular Front faction will unanimously support in the second reading and in general the bill No. 7163 "On the peculiarities of the state policy for ensuring Ukraine's state sovereignty over the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions", which will be considered tomorrow. About this "Chief" reported faction representative Irina Efremova.
The People's Deputy recalled that the faction consistently sought an early review of the draft law. According to her, the document contains four extremely important messages. "First, at the legislative level in Ukraine, Russia will finally be recognized as an aggressor country. Secondly, the bill officially defines the status of the occupied territories of part of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, as well as the Crimea. Such a status will give the countries of the European Union grounds for strengthening sanctions against Russia.
Another extremely important point is that the document prescribes the possibility of conducting military actions to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine in internationally defined borders, "said Irina Efremova.
The parliamentarian expressed hope that there will be votes in the parliament for such an important decision. "It will be interesting to see who among the most publicists on this topic, loudest of all shouted about the need for a bill on reintegration, he will not vote for it. Tomorrow, Ukrainians will see it, "- concluded Irina Efremova.
