The reason for another sharp criticism on the part of the Turkish president was the case against the leadership of the Turkish bank Halkbank, which is accused of deviating from the earlier imposed sanctions on Iran. Erdogan, addressing the members of his ruling party in the parliament, said that Washington is deliberately speculating on the affairs related to Ankara in order to once again undermine the national interests of the country and the authority in the region.
The president is also dissatisfied with the work of the CIA and the FSB, which he considers involved in an attempted coup in July 2016. They, in his opinion, financed the preacher and the main organizer of the coup by Fethullah Gulen.
"All these actions are an attempt of a political coup," the head of the Turkish state administration said..
As reported in "URA-Inform", recently the Turkish authorities accused Gulen of interference in the work of state diplomatic missions.
