This is reported by the German edition of Deutsche Welle.

As noted, MEPs supported the talks between London and Brussels, which have made sufficient progress. This decision was approved by 556 deputies. However, there were some who expressed their indignation. As a result, 62 voted against, 68 abstained.

At the same time, the MEPs stressed a number of "unresolved issues" that must be resolved before a final agreement on Brexit can be approved.

"This is an important step for us and it will allow us to proceed to the second stage," said European Parliament President Antonio Tajani at a press conference after the plenary session.

Voting took place the day before EU leaders are expected to sign on Thursday an agreement reached last week between Prime Minister Teresa Mei and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on the first stage of the talks.

Recall, as previously reported URA-Inform, & nbsp the UK and the European Union reached an agreement on the amount of London's financial obligations to Brussels at a rate of 60 billion euros.
