Doctor of Philosophy and authoritative sociologist Eugene Holovakha in an interview with HB said that, in his opinion, with some points on the issue of education, Ukraine hurried.

"We win the idea - until we translate all into Ukrainian, there will be no Ukrainian nation," he said..

According to the sociologist, Ukraine, which has chosen the European vector of the movement, it is important to reckon with the European rules of the game.

"There is a principle: never violate the rights of ethnic and linguistic minorities. And while this principle is working, the current situation on the Polish and Hungarian borderlands of Ukraine in the European community will cause questions, "explained Golovaha.

He stressed that it is important to conduct a dialogue and answer these questions.

"I am concerned about the statements of some politicians and diplomats, that this is our internal affair: they say that we want, then we do. It really reminds Russia, convinced of its own self-sufficiency and indifferent to the opinion of its neighbors, "said the sociologist.

Holovakha added that Ukraine had ratified too many European and international documents on minority rights in order to easily juggle with this issue.
