Correspondents of the Russian propaganda channel Russia Today America (RT) have been deprived of accreditation under the US Congress. This was announced by the director of the Executive Committee of Radio and Television Correspondents at the American Congress Craig Kaplan, the League reports with reference to ABC News.
The communication specifies that the deprivation of accreditation takes effect immediately.
Kaplan stressed that the rules of the press gallery of the Congress clearly states that accreditation can not be granted to those who work for a foreign government or its representatives.
The workers of the propaganda Russian television channel are ordered to hand over all issued permanent passes to the Congress building.
