It is reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country conducted an audit of electronic declarations of politicians and candidates for the post of head of the Czech Republic. As a result, it was found that only three candidates were successfully registered: Skoda Auto former head Vratislav Kulganek, president of the Defense Industry Association Jiri Ginek, musician Petr Hannig.
It turned out that the statements of 11 others wishing to fight for the presidency were rejected, since these candidates did not submit the required number of signatures. Presidential elections in the country are held with the help of a general vote, a presidential candidate must recruit at least two-thirds of the votes in order to take office.
