This is reported by the local newspaper Diena.

It is noted that all 83 deputies voted affirmatively for the relevant resolution, no parliamentarian voted against, one abstained.

According to conservative deputy Gabrielis Landsbergis, by this resolution the parliamentarians urge the government to include in the black list those persons who had special relation to the murder of Sergei Magnitsky. And only then will there really be a list of Magnitsky.

It is noteworthy that the list includes mainly citizens of the Russian Federation, including the head of the Investigation Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, the deputy chairman of the Investigation Committee under the Ministry of Internal Affairs Major-General Oleg Logunov, the judges Elena Stashina, Alexey Krivoruchko, Svetlana Ukhnaleva, Sergei Podoprigorov and others.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Seimas, Juozas Bryanatonis, noted that all the people listed in the list have already been included in the current list of persons who are prohibited from entering Lithuania.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, the Senate of Canada supported the bill S-226 "On Justice for Victims of Corrupt Foreign Authorities," known as the "Magnitsky Law".
