According to the source, 75-year-old Mnangagwa was forced to leave the country after dictator Robert Mugabe dismissed him from fulfilling the duties of the prime minister of the state. Mnangagwa was supported by war veterans and military men who took part in the struggle for independence of Rhodesia. Also, the political elite of the party opposed the proposal of Mugabe to lead the country to his wife Grace, after his eventual death.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", previously tens of thousands of Zimbabweans have been massively entering the streets of Harare to note the fall of the long-standing dictatorial regime of Robert Mugabe.
