Grinbergs said that he considers today's verdict a sign of corruption of the state, as well as the fact that "real terrorists are a state". Attorney Raitis intends to appeal the verdict in the Supreme Court in cassation order.

Grinbergs said in his last speech that he no longer believes in Islam and turned to Christianity.
