According to the adopted document, in order to protect participants in criminal proceedings from unjustified removal of documents and computer equipment, it is proposed in the Criminal Procedure Code to provide for the duty of the prosecution to justify the need to seize the originals of documents or their copies, and to provide for the prohibition of the removal of electronic information systems and the duty of the prosecution to make copies of the necessary information without removal of the equipment on which it is stored, with the involvement of a specialist.

The law also expands the list of grounds for closing a criminal case.

In addition, among other things, it is provided that the person in whose room the search is conducted has the right to compulsory legal assistance.
