The largest in the history of Israel, the Blue Flag Air Force (Blue Flag) international military exercises began at the beginning of the week with single flights and will reach a peak in the coming days.

The Air Force of the IDF stressed that it is not only the largest air exercises in the history of the country, but also in the world for the current year, Vesti writes.

Blue Flag employs 100 aircraft, including 70 fighter jets and bombers, helicopters, UAVs from 7 countries: the United States, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Greece and India. The exercises will be observed by the military of Great Britain and Austria, as well as by the armies of a number of foreign countries, who expressed interest in taking part in the following maneuvers, which, according to plan, must pass in two years.

In the framework of the exercises, about 1,000 foreign soldiers arrived in Israel, who were accommodated in Eilat hotels.

On the day there are about 100 sorties, thus, to date, there have been 1000 flights. In training air battles take part as small calculations from 4 aircraft, and large connections to 20 sides. Each link includes planes from different countries, along with four US Air Force planes, the cooperation of four Greek Air Force aircraft.
