The head of the Ukrainian government thanked the representative of Tokyo and assured that Ukraine appreciates Japan's principled position on supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state.

Groisman also assured that he is eager to strengthen economic cooperation, in particular, in implementing large-scale projects with Japanese companies.

In turn, Nakane stressed that Japan notes progress in Ukraine and is ready to continue supporting social and economic changes in our state.

During the talks, the sides confirmed common positions on a number of international issues. In particular, the Minister of State announced the continuation of the policy of sanctions against the aggressor country.
