This is reported by Euractiv.

As noted, this agreement should be held on November 13 in Brussels. In turn, countries such as France and Germany expect that this pact will contribute to closer military cooperation within the EU.

At the same time, discrepancies are reported between the major players on the obligations of countries under the agreement. In particular, Paris insists that countries contribute money and military assets to PESCO, and also be prepared to intervene in foreign conflicts. However, despite this, the German state seeks to expand this pact.

However, some other EU members, including Denmark, Portugal and Malta, have not yet made public commitments. It is obvious that the UK, which intends to leave the EU, will not take part in the project.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", German Chancellor Angela Merkel believes the French plan for reforming the EU is quite a working option. According to the Federal Chancellor, the new reforms will help to establish German-French relations within the European Union.
