They called on the Hungarian authorities to stop threatening Ukraine. According to the Delfi edition, the corresponding appeal was initiated by former Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius.

He was supported by 37 representatives of the Seimas, including the head of the parliamentary Committee for European Affairs Gediminas Kirkilas and the chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Juozas Bernatonis. In their statement, in particular, it is said that Lithuania is surprised and even shocked by the ultimatum statements of the Hungarian government threatening to block Ukraine's rapprochement with the EU or NATO unless Ukraine changes its new law on education, at the request of Hungary, in which the specificity of the education of persons is conditioned belonging to national minorities.

Such attention of neighboring to the Ukrainian Law on Education is not surprising, but they are surprised by the ultimatums put forth by the Hungarian authorities with threats,.

The document also emphasizes that such ultimatums of Hungary are categorically unacceptable, not at all European, and all the more incomprehensible when it comes from one of the states of Central Europe.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in mid-October, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavel Klimkin, said that Ukraine and Hungary intend to work together on the implementation of the law "On Education".
