As noted, the total strength of the military contingent is 12.7 thousand troops from both countries. Among them, 10.4 thousand will take part in exercises on the territory of Belarus, with the use of air bombs from the position of the assault circle, the launching of unguided rockets and firing from guns.

In addition, at the site of the "Dretun" area in the Vitebsk region, helicopters of the mixed air base search for the DRG of the conventional enemy and the IAF. Thus, the landing of a group of 103 Guards airborne brigade will provide aviation support, as well as the destruction of the conventional enemy in the village.

It should be added that in the joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises "West-2017" involved six military ranges, as well as two sites in the Vitebsk region. Together, combat actions will be taken to protect the state part of the border in the north-west of the country. In particular, the fictitious enemy is the fictitious territory of Belarus "Veisnoria".

As previously reported, URA-Inform, British Defense Minister Milek Fallon believes that the joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises "West-2017" is another provocation from the Russian side.
