Turkey will remain a loyal member of NATO

According to the representative of the President of Turkey, Ibrahim Kalin, the country reserves the right to purchase weapons from either side. He noted that good relations with Moscow in no way affect the distance from the Alliance.

NATO expressed dissatisfaction with the purchase of S-400 systems from Russia.



The Pentagon, however, reports that anti-aircraft gunning does not comply with block standards, and expressed the desire to avoid such purchases.

The total amount spent on weapons by Turkey was $ 2.5 billion.

Earlier, the EU expressed discontent over the recent referendum, expanding the rights of President Erdogan.

As reported in "URA-Inform", Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Donald Trump have recently agreed to hold a working meeting.
