After the disappearance from the territory of Belarus of the Ukrainian Paul Grib for Ukrainian citizens, there was a danger of staying not only in the Russian territory. This was said by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavel Klimkin, in an interview with Ukrinform.
According to Klimkin, in Russia special services consistently work against Ukrainian citizens. Foreign Minister urges Ukrainians to think carefully, before going there.
"But now we have a situation when we see that Russian special services are also operating in Belarus, and I believe that Ukrainian citizens should weigh how to go there," said Klimkin.
As it became known, the Russian court ruled on the detention of Pavel Grib, abducted in Belarus, as early as August 17, before the arrival of the guy in Gomel.
This "Ukrainian Truth" was told by the Grib's lawyer Andrei Sabinin.
According to him, the court in Russia ruled that he had been detained on August 17, before the guy's arrival in Belarus, and the immediate arrest was made on August 25.
"The court ruled on his detention for two months as early as August 17. The decision was in absentia, "said Sabinin.
He also said that after this period the court must consider the decision on the future fate of Mushroom.
"If the investigation is completed, then the court must pass a sentence - either acquittal, or imprisonment. But the charge of terrorism is a serious article and will take a long time to investigate.. Most likely, they will prolong the term of detention, "he said..
The lawyer noted that the court could also have released him on his recognizance not to leave or under house arrest. But because he does not have Russian registration and any property in the Russian Federation, he will not be able to release him and, most likely, will prolong the term of detention.
He also told the details of the abduction of Mushroom in Belarus.
According to him, the guy was kidnapped at the Gomel bus station on August 24 at about 5 pm where he came after meeting with the girl. He bought a return ticket to Ukraine.
"With him, he had a certificate that he was a disabled child and a passport. On one of the central streets, some people in plainclothes came to him, put him in a minibus, tied them up and took them to a forest, where they were already handed to other people in the dark, "said the lawyer.
On the question of "Ukrainian Truth", who detained him in Gomel, Belarusians or Russians and to whom exactly Griba was transferred, Sabinin said that he can not answer.
"I can not add any information to the one that has already been reported," he said..
The lawyer noted that after handing over to a stranger a guy a day or two was kept in a building without windows and without sunlight.
"After that, again, according to him, the investigative brigade arrived, formalized his detention in accordance with the Russian Code of Criminal Procedure. And when he was brought to the police station, he found out that this was the Smolensk region. He saw a sign on the police station. In my opinion, this is the city of Ryabtsevo. There he was fingerprinted, "- said the defender.
After that, according to Sabinin, the brigade left with Pavel to Krasnodar, where he is now in jail # 5.
The lawyer noted that now in Krasnodar there are Ukrainian consuls who try, according to a previously agreed list, to hand over to the guy things and medicines. Whether consuls are allowed to go to the Grib, the lawyer does not yet know.
At the same time, as the "Ukrainian Truth" told Pavel Grib, the father of Pavel, before the case of kidnapping and arrest, his son was never in Russia and did not visit the annexed Crimea.
"I do not know exactly what fact of terrorism he is charged with. What exactly and where he did not tell us. He and abroad was last time only in 2012. Not in ATO, or anywhere was not - does not allow the state of health.
The maximum where he was active is in social networks, "- said the father.
August 8, 2017 military chaplain Igor Grib said that his 19-year-old son Pavel went to a girl in Belarus on August 24 and disappeared. Gomel security agencies told their father that his son was "wanted for terrorist activities" (the initiator), but they did not confirm the detention. According to the girl, to which Paul went to Gomel, she was forced to lure the Ukrainian to Belarus, the Russian special services.
