In its resolution on the draft budget, the deputies urged the Commission and Member States to fully use this additional amount by the end of 2017. According to the press service of the European Parliament, referring to the words of the European Parliament Jens Geer, the number of young people who do not work is still shamefully high.
According to him, the unemployment rate among people aged 16-25 years is twice the average in many EU countries. Therefore, an additional 500 million euros will help create new jobs, also support internships and further education for those who most need help.
As previously reported in URA-Inform, in Ukraine, the number of unemployed decreased by 12%.
