According to the publication, such a proposal was discussed by the heads of defense ministries at a meeting in Tallinn.

According to Lithuanian Defense Minister Raimundas Caroblis, this project will not only facilitate the procedure for issuing Schengen documents, but will also bring additional convenience in the infrastructure links between the Baltic and the European Union.

As it turned out, the heads of defense departments of the EU discussed the creation of a foundation for military cooperation, which could be a special Defense European Fund.

This fund could finance defense projects and capacities.

By 2020, the European Commission is going to allocate 500 million euros for defense.

As reported in "URA-Inform", Seimas Litov's Speaker Viktoras Pranzketis is confident that the monetary "Marshall Plan" is fully approved by the US and the European Union.
