According to Groisman, the program should be approved by the end of this month. At the moment, the working group under the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is preparing a program to support farming.

The prime minister also asks the people's deputies to support this project, by amending the state budget.

The program provides assistance to livestock keepers, as well as additional financing for farmers.

Experts say that Ukraine annually loses millions of hryvnias because of the high mortality of pigs from various diseases, and the livestock sector itself requires a clear and well thought-out strategy.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", in Ukraine, the loss of pigs from plague caused damage to the state by one billion hryvnia. The country does not have a fully regulated policy for eliminating wild pigs.
